Formas- Regular –AR verbs
Verbs belong to a family called a conjugation.
The first verb in the family is called an “infinitive.”
An infinitive is a verb before it is conjugated and it
means “to ________.”
A verb has two parts, a stem and an ending.
Example- bailar- to dance
bail is the stem of the verb
ar is the ending of the verb
In this set of verbs, -AR is the ending.
Conjugating –AR verbs
Conjugating regular verbs is a two step process.
First, you have to drop the ending from the verb.
Second, you have to add the ending that matches the subject
pronoun or subject.

Trabajo de Clase- -AR verbs
This is INDEPENDENT work!
You will take some time to practice conjugating –ar
verbs!
First, you will write out the subject pronoun set, as it
was given on your notes.
Next, write the stem for each of the verbs in the spaces.
Then fill in the endings (with a red pen!) that match
the subject pronouns.
Ladies, you do evens. Gentlemen, you’re responsible
for odds.
This is a collected, graded classwork assignment so do
your best work!
