1. Decide A and B. A – faces screen. B – back to screen.
2. A – mentally translates into ASL and signs the
sentences. B – writes the English translation on their
paper. Partner B no peeking!! I will be in front to
model sentences and give grammar feedback.
3. A – Keep in mind there is a time limit, but repeat the
sentence as your partner requests. If too difficult, skip
it and move on to the next sentence.
4. When all 10 sentences are finished, Partner B may
turn and correct their own paper.
5. If the two of you are finished before the time is up…
B can practice signing the sentences or you can “chat”
(in ASL) until the lights flash, or time is called.
