1. The first step to an affirmative
command is to conjugate your verb for
“yo” in present tense.
2. Next, you drop the “o” off of the end.
3. Lastly, you add the third person
ending for the verb on the end
For –ar verbs, add “a”
For –er/ir verbs, add “e”
In a simpler form, the affirmative
command steps.
Here is an example of how you would tell someone
to swim.
