Los Verbos Reflexivos
*To Say that people do something to or for themselves, you use
reflexives verbs.
*For Example, washing one’s hair or brushing one’s teeth are
reflexive actions because the person doing the action also
receives the action of the verb.
Me ducho - I shower myself (I take a shower)
Me cepillo los dientes - I brush my own teeth
*You know that a verb is reflexive if its INF form ends with the
letters “SE”.

you must use a Reflexive PRONOUN + the VERB in the same form

Los Verbos Reflexivos
*Some verbs have both reflexive and non-reflexive forms and
usages.
*When a verb is used in it’s non-reflexive form, the action is being
done to someone else.
Lavo el coche - I wash the car (non-reflexive)
Me lavo el pelo - I wash my hair (reflexive)
*When you use a reflexive verb with parts of the body or clothing,
use the definite articles (el/la/los/las).
Siempre te pintas las uñas - You always paint your nails
Felipe se pone los zapatos - Felipe puts on his shoes.
Pronoun Placement with Reflexives
#1: Before a conjugated verb
me cepillo los dientes - I brush my teeth
#2: With INF phrases
A: Before the entire INF phrase
me quiero cepillar los dientes.
B: Attached to the INF ending
Quiero cepillarme los dientes
