Torch 1.0 Step by Step
Log in then you see the Dashboard (a summary of
what’s going on. *red arrow
Click on Participants and then Add Participants to
begin entering registrations. *lightning
Begin entering a registration form, important to use proper caps for names (ex: Jody Jameson), double (triple!)
check email addresses and cell phone #’s please! IF a form is not readable for email, please call them and get it
corrected.
Only need to include Tshirt Size for now. *Purple Star
Also, IF IT IS A NON-Wake County Resident, PLEASE click “Non-Resident” and in the comments section PUT which
team or group they are with. *blue circles
Click on “Add Participant GoTo Activities to add activities *yellow arrow
Activity page….click on the activity to SELECT it. It will automatically go to the “Selected Events” side and no longer
be available for choosing.
IF you accidently choose the wrong one…it is OK. Click on it on the Selected Events side and it goes back to the
“Non-Selected Side”.
IF they choose a Performing SilverArts
you will see this pop up….click on “Add a
New Group” if you cannot find their
group name. IF they are the leader of
the group, then click “leader of the
group”. It will ask you to fill in the more
info (time, piano, etc.)
If they pick a partner event you will get a drop
down to find their partner name. IF their
partner had not registered yet, you will not
find their name. It is AOK. Just pick “select a
partner” and move on.
If they pick a Visual or Heritage
Arts, you will get this and enter
the Title of the Entry, a
description (any detail you can
get) and check off the “size”
box….IF they artist is registering
from home, they need to
upload their photo/file. Same
with Music for performing…
When done, press
“Save and Pay”
*Yellow Star
Time to pay.
Enter Payment Type (check, cash, money order, etc.) *purple lightning
In Notes put check number, if making a donation OR if paying Pickle ball Fee for 2016 *red star
Enter Amount Paid (NO MATTER WHAT THE AMOUNT DUE SAYS) and press “save payment”. *orange

You will notice some Fee Names at the bottom…..
Click, SAVE PAYMENT
This is NEW screen. IF the highlight is in GREEN all is well with the world. *red arrow.
If the line is
YELLOW you
need to then click
on the blue
button labeled
“Details” *red
arrow
NEW screen. Click on “Fee*” and get a drop down listing options for
new fees. Click on said correct fee. *Red arrow
THEN hit SAVE PAYMENT (green button). You will see the new fees
fill the listing below word “Fee Name” *Yellow arrow
It should be GREEN again and the world is in balance. IF not, keep
trying. It will work!

ready to move
on to the next

Click on
Participants, add
participants and
get going. *small

FOR 2017 we will
(prior to that
click) also hit
“send rect.”
IF you need to search for a person, edit an account,
check/change/etc. activities….please click on “Manage
Participants”. *red circle
In the search area, add person’s name. *Purple star
You can then edit account, activities AND look at their
payment history.
IF the payment history is YELLOW, there is a problem.
IF the payment history is RED, there is a real problem.
IF the payment history is GREEN, the world is right and
butterflies will sing to you tomorrow.
