Each User has their own “Home” directory

Status bar display information about selected item and free space
Use Context Menu to:
Create a new folder
Create a new document
Arrange items in the window
Paste
Zoom
Displace properties of selected item
Every folder/file has permission
Two panes (F3) make
drag and drop easy.
You can use copy and
paste.
There are no drive letters like in MS Windows
All drives are part of the same virtual file system
The starting point of the File System is called Root which contains:
executable (binaries) that makeup the Linux Kernel
configuration files
temporary files
gateway to mounted cdrom, floppy drive, USB drive
files used to control Operating System interaction with hardware
NEVER PLACE PERSONAL FILES IN THIS AREA
