Hierarchy- a system or
organization in which
people or groups are
ranked one above the
other according to
status or authority
Allegiance- loyalty or
commitment of a
subordinate to a
superior or of an
individual to a group or
cause.
Fealty- the obligation or
the engagement to be
faithful to a lord, usually
sworn to by a vassal.
Manorialism- in
medieval times, the
organization of rural
economy and society
in which the land
holding nobles owned
self-sufficient estates
worked on by legally
obligated peasants
Feudalism-A social
system in which the
ruler gives lands to
nobles in exchange for
loyalty and military
service

Vassal-a person or
country in a
subordinate position to
another.
