It provides the tools which enables production of all processed goods.. Importance of manufacturing • Manufacturing is an important mean to create material wealth!!! • One job in a manufacturing plant generates about four other jobs else!!! The art of converting raw material into finished goods with application of different types of tools, machines, manufacturing set ups and manufacturing processes is known as production.
