Status
• Cape Leveque Road is 193 kms in
length with 88kms currently unsealed.
• Main roads have committed to
undertaken staged upgrading and
sealing of road.
• Environmental approvals currently
being sought (State and Federal Govt)
• Economic and Socials needs
warranting fast tracking of upgrade.
Outcome Sought
• Upgrade and sealing to occur over
two dry seasons 2015 and 2016.
Water for Food Program

• $40million 4 year program to
accelerate water investigations across
State to meet future population
requirements
• Program will support Public/Private
partnerships for development of
