FDOT is initiating two separate bridge studies regarding the crossing of
Santa Rosa Sound:

• Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study prior to design phase

Santa Rosa Sound Alternate Crossing Study
• High-level planning and feasibility study to inform decision on advancing to PD&E

Identify alternatives / perform preliminary engineering analysis
Evaluate potential impacts (social, natural & physical)
Coordinate with federal, state and local agencies
Involve the public in the development of the project
