Used on Recreation Fields and Playgrounds
Purpose:
1.Identify what is recycled tire crumb
2.Investigate the ways in which people might be exposed to recycled
tire crumb
3.Research the possible negative effects of recycled tire crumb
Centers for Disease Control
Consumer Product Safety Commission
Process:
1.Reach out to parents, athletes, and industry representatives
2.Scientists will test different types of crumb rubber to discover the
chemical compounds in the rubber
3.Draft a report by the end of 2016
