The Difference between an Ahmadi
Muslim and non-Ahmadi Muslim
‘An Invitation to Ahmadiyyat’
by Hadhrat Mirza Bashir Ahmad Khalitaftul Masih II
‫رضی هللا عنه‬
The Difference between an Ahmadi
Muslim and non-Ahmadi Muslim
• Ahmadis are Muslims and their religion is Islam. The
slightest deviation from it they consider wrong and
degrading.
• The name Ahmadiyyat is the name of a
reinterpretation or a restatement of the religion of the
Holy Quran.
The Difference between an Ahmadi
Muslim and non-Ahmadi Muslim
• The Death of Jesus son of Mary
‫سالم‬
ّ ‫علیهما ال‬
• Prophets greater than Jesus ‫سالم‬
ّ ‫ علیه ال‬,
have died and their death brought no
humiliation to them.
The Difference between an Ahmadi
Muslim and non-Ahmadi Muslim
• The
Finality
of
Prophethood
And Muhammad is only a Messenger. Verily, all Messengers have passed
away before him. If then he die or be slain, will you turn back on your
heels? And he who turns back on his heels shall not harm Allah at all.
And
Allah
will
certainly
reward
the
grateful.
(Aal-e-`Imran Chapter 3 : Verse 145)
• The Ahmadiyya Muslims believe
that a follower of the Holy Prophet
‫ﷺ‬has appeared as the Promised
Messiah ‫سالم‬
ّ ‫علیه ال‬
The Difference between an Ahmadi
Muslim and non-Ahmadi Muslim
• The Ahmadis regard the founder of the
Ahmadiyya Movement, Hadhrat Mirza Ghulam
Ahmad of Qadian (Gurdaspur, Punjab, India),
as the Promised Messiah and Mahdi ‫سالم‬
ّ ‫علیه ال‬.
• The Holy Quran declares that Jesus is dead. The
Traditions echo the same truth.
• The Second Coming of the Messiah
• In the Ahadith, the Promised One is called Jesus
son of Mary.
• The name Jesus is freely applied to persons
other than Jesus.
• The name Maryam has been used to describe a
spiritual condition by the Holy Quran.
The Difference between an Ahmadi
Muslim and non-Ahmadi Muslim
• The truth about the Institution of Revelation
• Ahmadi Muslims believe that the institution of
revelation and of the coming of prophets
continues after the Holy Prophet (‫)ﷺ‬.
• Prophethood which comes through the Holy
Prophet (‫ )ﷺ‬and which, therefore, is glory to
him.
And whoso obeys Allah and this Messenger of His shall be among those
on whom Allah has bestowed His blessings, namely, the Prophets, the
Truthful, the Martyrs, and the Righteous. And excellent companions are
these.
Chapter Al-Nisa Verse 70
The Difference between an Ahmadi
Muslim and non-Muslim
• The True Conception of Jihad
• Ahmadis deny and resist vehemently the view
which makes it right to shed blood, to spread
disorder and disloyalty, and to disrupt civil
peace in the name of Islam.
• Ahmadis are not against Jihad. They are only
against the tendency to label any kind of
aggrandizement as Jihad.
• Among the wrongs done to the Holy Prophet is
the wrong which Muslims themselves have
done to him by misrepresenting the Holy
Prophet (‫)ﷺ‬, by holding up a wrong image of
him before others.
The Difference between an Ahmadi
Muslim and non-Muslim
• The highest Jihad is with the help of the Quran. Is it
such a Jihad to which the Muslims are invited today.
• According to Islam, every human individual is free
to believe or not to believe. He is free to follow
reason.
• A religious war may be justified when there is
interference in religion. But even when permitted, a
religious war is not intended to force a people to
give up their faith, nor is its purpose to desecrate or
destroy places of worship, or to kill.
Permission to fight is given to those against whom war is made, because they
have been wronged — and Allah indeed has power to help them - Those who
have been driven out from their homes unjustly only because they said, ‘Our
Lord is Allah’ — And if Allah did not repel some men by means of others, there
would surely have been pulled down cloisters and churches and synagogues and
mosques, wherein the name of Allah is oft commemorated. And Allah will surely
help one who helps Him. Allah is indeed Powerful, Mighty.
Surah Al-Hajj Verse 40 -41
The Difference between an Ahmadi
Muslim and non-Ahmadi Muslim
• The claim of Hadhrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad
‫سالم‬
ّ ‫علیه ال‬
• God has granted him insight into the Holy
Quran, and revealed to him its innermost
meaning and truth; that He has revealed to him
the secrets of a virtuous life.
• Hadhrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (‫سالم‬
ّ ‫ )علیه ال‬was
the Messiah for Christians and Jews, the
Masiodarbahmi for the Zoroastrians and
Krishna for the Hindus.
