Islam and Woman
 "Treat your women well and be kind to them for
they are your partners and committed helpers.“
(..And live with them in kindness…)
 How can a Muslim husband be good to his wife? He
should smile, not hurt her emotionally, remove
anything that will harm her, treat her gently, and be
patient with her.
 Man can not deny her right to speak up her opinion
and share responsibility with man.
Islam and Hijab
 The Islamic veil or hijab refers to the loose-fitting,
plain and opaque outer garments which cover a
Muslim woman’s body. While basically identical to the
clothing depicted in traditional Christian
representations of Mary (may God praise her and her
son).
 “Indeed from the teachings of the first prophets which
has reached you is, ‘If you do not have shyness, then do
as you please.” (Al-Bukhari) (Modesty and shyness
Islam and Non-Muslims

(Quran 21:107)
 “O people of Quraish! What do you think I will do to
you?
 “Then I say to you what Joseph said to his brothers:
‘There is no blame upon you.’ Go! For you all free!.”
 The story of his neighbor. Protecting Non-muslims,
The seventh neighbor.
Islam and Gihad
 Islam, a religion of mercy, does not permit
terrorism. In the Quran, God has said:
 “God does not forbid you from showing kindness and
dealing justly with those who have not fought you
about religion and have not driven you out of your
homes. God loves just dealers.” (Quran 60:8)
“A woman was punished because she imprisoned a cat
until it died.” He also said that a man gave a very
thirsty dog a drink, so God forgave his sins for this
action.
Islam and other Religions.
 One condition of being a Muslim is to believe in god,
Angels, prophets and Books.
 Prophet Mohamed says,(Whoever hurts a non-Muslim
person under protection, I am his adversary, and I
shall be an adversary to him on the Day of
Resurrection.)
 Also, "One who kills a non-Muslim person under
protection (Arabic: dhimmi) will not even smell the
fragrance of Paradise."
