HAJJ
The Hajj (Arabic: )حجis a pilgrimage to Mecca. Currently it is the
largest annual pilgrimage in the world and is one of the pillars
of Islam, an obligation that must be carried out at least once in
the lifetime by every able-bodied Muslim who can afford to do
so. The Hajj is a demonstration of the solidarity of the Muslim
Ummah, and submission to Allah (SWT). The pilgrimage occurs
from the 8th to 13th day of Dhu al-Hijjah, the 12th month of the
Islamic lunar calendar.
As Hajj provides every pilgrim with tranquility of heart, inner
purity, and fullness of understanding of his existence in the
cosmos, every single step should recall the ideas of the
creation, glory of divine transcendence, and the unity of the
believers that crosses boundaries and ethnic and gender
diversities. In the heart of every aspect of Hajj is some reflection
signifying the Hereafter.
"Whoever performs Hajj for the Pleasure of Allah and therein utters no word of evil, nor
commits any evil deed, shall return from it (free from sin) as the day on which his mother
gave birth to him." [Bukhaari, Muslim ]
"Verily there shall be no reward for a Mabroor (accepted) Hajj except Jannah." [Bukhaari,
Muslim].
After returning from Hajj the pilgrims should be conscious of about the order of Allah
(SWT). They have to be more punctual about the obligatory Ibadath such as: Salah (Namaj),
Zakah and Fasting in Ramadan. They must have to abstain from all sorts of “Shirk” and
“Bidath”. They must obey Allah (SWT), Prophet (PBUH) and their Patents. They must have
to love 1st Allah (SWT) then Prophet (PBUH) , than anything in this world and they have to
prove it through their action. They should not be involved in backbiting, telling lies, and
giving false witness against anybody. They must follow the Quran and the Sunnah of
Prophet (PBUH) and they should maintain Halal and Haram which Allah (SWT) mentioned in
the Quran. They will be more humble and always “Tawakul” (trust in) to Allah (SWT). They
should love each other for the sake of Allah.
ACTS & IBADATH AFTER HAJJ
Our beloved Prophet (S) said in the hadith that Hajj purifies sins and makes a person like a
newborn and thus closer to Allah. It is therefore important for Hajjis to try their best to
preserve this pure state as best they can. Religious scholars have suggested to achieve the
following few tips which will help them:
Try to be consistent in ‘dhikr’, which helps to come closer to Allah and repels Satan.
Remain steadfast in performing Salah and other religious duties.
Read and ponder the Qur'an on a daily basis.
Keep company with righteous Muslims.
Occupy time in good deeds as much as possible.
Keep away from the haram because after Hajj a person should start a new life that is
supposed to be clean.
Carry the message of Islam by inviting people to it and showing a good example.
Pray to Allah to make your heart steadfast in obeying Him in the manner of the Prophet (S).
Make Dua (recommended by Islamic Scholar)
Arabic::Allaahumma yaa muqalliba al-quloobi thabbit qalbee `alaa ta'atika.
English: O Allah! You are the twister of hearts! Make my heart firm on obedience to You!).”

Conclusion
"Whoever performs Hajj for the Pleasure of Allah and therein
utters no word of evil, nor commits any evil deed, shall return
from it (free from sin) as the day on which his mother gave birth
to him." ( Bukhaari & Muslim)
I hoped that all the pilgrims who performed Hajj were sincere in
their intentions and had traveled thousands of miles only to
secure the Pleasure of Allah (SWT) by fulfilling the obligation
laid down upon them. May Allah the Almighty accept all the
pilgrim’s Hajj and let them to change their lives so that they can
remain sinless rest of their life. Ameen.
