• Muhammad was born 570, Mecca, Arabia.
• Muhammad became one of the most
influential teacher’s to be teaching such a
big religion’s during this time.
• He founded the religion of Islam.
• He was accepted by Muslims throughout
the world as the last of the prophet of God.
• He died June 8, 632 in Medina.

• Muhammad was a orphan before he reached
age six and he went to go live with his Uncle
Abu Talib.
• When he was 25 he married a girl named
Khadija. They had four daughters and two sons
both of the sons died at infancy.
• While he was in his marriage about fifteen years
later he began to hear voices and see visions.

• Muhammad had seen shrines like idols
built of the god Ka'aba.
• He is the only founder of a major world
religion.
• Muhammad first became a merchant.
• It became the mission of Muhammad to
proclaim the truth of Islam, given to him by
Allah, through the angel Gabriel.
• Muhammad had 12 wives when he died.
