• Don’t overlap!
Complementary Angles
• Two acute angles
that add up to 90
degrees.
• One angle is 40
degrees.
• The second angle
is 50 degrees.
Supplementary Angles
• The two obtuse
angles line up to
180 degrees.
• The angles don’t
have to be
together.
