• They have corresponding sides that are
congruent.
• They have corresponding angles that are
congruent.

Similar Figures
• Similar figures have the same shape but not
necessarily the same size.
• They have corresponding angles that are
congruent.
• They have corresponding sides that are
proportional.
To see if a figure is similar to another, check to
see whether the sides are proportional.
