Bags of sand measure 2 feet long, 1½ feet
wide, and 6 inches high. What is the
volume of a stack of 8 bags?
Procedure:
1. Always write down the formula.
2. Write all the measurement in order.
Volume of rectangular prisms
3. Covert all the measurements to the same
one (ft,ft)
4. Multiply all the measurements together.
5. Always remember to put the volume sign
after you have multiplied the
measurements.

Examples:
Classifying triangles
Equilateral triangle: a triangle with congruent
sides and angles
Acute triangle: a triangle that has all its angles
that are acute
Classifying triangles
Isosceles triangles:Only two sides have the
same length
Right triangle: There is only one right
angle(90 degrees).
Classifying triangles
Scalene triangle: No sides have the same
length.
Obtuse triangle: it has only one obtuse angle.

We could use this skill in real life because
when you are going to make a hole and you
need to find the volume of how much
cement you need to buy. It is important
because if you buy too much you will
wasting money.
Classifying Triangles
You can use this skill in real live when you
are a constructor and you need a triangle
frame in the building. This skill is important
because you won’t have a hard time
classifying triangles.
1. We liked that Mr. Flores didn’t make us
bring our math text book every day.
2. We liked that he had fun game for us that
help us learn math.
3. We liked that we had little projects and
that they were fun.
4. We liked that we got to use the lap top for
a fun very fun project.
What we dislike about the
classroom
1. I disliked that he gave us homework on
the weekends.
