Why are carbohydrates important?
They have a lot of energy
People who do many sports need a lot of
carbohydrates
There are to types of
carbohydrates:
complex and simple.
Most carbohydrates
come from plants.
Bread, cake, jam and
pasta have a lot of
carbohydrates.
Complex go slow to all the
body. Complex are starch, is
found in beans, nuts,
vegetables and whole
grains.
Simple go faster to all
the body. Simple
carbohydrates are
sugar.
