rumble of a big block
V8.
They return every
year on the 3rd
Saturday in August.

While millions watch the Woodward Cruise and listen to
Detroit’s most popular stations of today….
Let’s go back in time. Back to the beginning of rock and roll.
Back to the days of carbon paper, manual typewriters and
phonographs, when your favorite songs were on 45’s. There
were only a few stations on the AM radio dial where you could
hear the hits, and the DJ’s who played them became our
friends and companions.
