PLATEAUS AND DUNES
By Sid Mac and Nigel
(we are awesome)
PLATEAUS CHARACTERISTICS


Many plateaus are created by lava flowing and then
building up with each volcanic eruption.
Plateaus are also formed when magma in the earth
pushes upward but does not push through the crust.
THIS IS THE COLORADO PLATEAU.
If you look at it, it
looks like a
staircase.
