Crust 2. Mantle 3. Outer core 4. Inner core As you go deeper into earth… Pressure increases Temperature increases Density increases But scientists can not travel below the crust to the inside of the earth, so how do they know this? Evidence 1. Rock Samples – volcanoes erupt rocks from 100 km below the surface of the earth 2.
