What is Geothermal?
Four thousand miles beneath the earths surface, is double
layered! Under that, is MAGMA!!
The Crust, Mantle, Outer core and Inner core, all have
Geothermal energy!!
The crust is divided into plates, when they collide it forms
VOLCANOES!! Which gives out Geothermal Energy.

Renewable or not?
It is a renewable energy source,
because the water is restored by rainfall,
and the heat keeps going beneath the
earths surface!
We will NEVER run out!!
Where is it?
The Earth’s core!! I know it is amazing!
4,000 miles beneath the Earth’s surface you would find MAGMA!
It is mostly in the North, in Iceland and in the west, such as
California, Nevada, Hawaii, Alaska, and Utah!

Advantages and disadvantages!
Advantages: They don’t have to transport fuel, they
don’t burn fuel to generate electricity!
Disadvantages: It’s not everywhere!! We can’t take it
all at one time.

Is it bad for nature?
Yes, but it does very little damage to nature.
It does not require any fossil fuel, And it doesn’t need
too be burned for the energy to work!

Fun Facts
There are power plants all over the world
using geothermal energy.
The geothermal energy source is not
used for many things… its main use is
electricity.
HOPE YOU ENJOYED IT!
