What is it?

infected deer tick

Possibly Anyone who spends time in grassy or
wooded area
How is Lyme transmitted?
Through a deer tick bite
Not all deer ticks are infected with bacteria
In most cases, an infected tick must be attached for
36 hrs
Symptoms
Early stage : Chills and fever, headache, fatigue, stiff
neck, muscle and or joint pain and swollen glands
Late stage: progresses to severe fatigue, stiff
aching neck, tingling & numbness, facial paralysis
Untreated: severe headaches, painful arthritis, joint
swelling, heart and central nervous system
