WHY?
HUH? What’s that?
The whooping
cough is
› NASTY,
› CONTAGIOUS,
› VIOLENT,
› PAINFUL.
Pertussis
It can last for months
and make it really
hard to breathe. It
comes from the
bacteria called
Bordetella Pertussis.
The whooping cough has a very distinct
sound. It’s as if someone it “whooping”
for a breath
NO!
OH
When someone has the whooping cough and that
person coughs into the air, anyone close by could
breathe in the bacteria Bordetella Pertussis
and get the illness.
Ah! Don’t
cough
on me!
If you are not vaccinated,
you are not protected!
Young babies and children can get very
sick from this illness.
When you get this shot, you’re helping
protect them.
