Causes
Global warming may be
caused by people.
Fossil fuels – each years
5000 million tonnes of
CO2 are released into the
atmosphere when fossil
fuels are burned in power
stations, factories and
cars.
Deforestation- trees
convert CO2 into oxygen.
Most temperate forests
have already been felled.
Tropical rainforest are now
being cut down.
Methane- methane gas is being added to the
atmosphere by bacteria in rice fields, rotting
waste in rubbish dumps, and by flatulent
cattle.
