Microbes can cause disease
Say no to dough
Wash up
Get your shots
Don’t eat pink meat
Take your medicine
Don’t drink streamwater
Wash before you eat
Take it easy
Beware of wild animals
How do we spread germs?
Wash your hands!
How well do you wash
your hands?
Let’s find out!
Hand cleaning experiment
1. Spread lotion on your hands
2. Sprinkle glitter on your hands
3. Touch your pencil, shake hands, scratch your nose
4. Use the wipe to clean your hand as fast as usual - how
much glitter disappears?
5. Use the sink and really wash, with soap and warm
water - how much more glitter disappears?
Thanks for thinking about
microbes!
