• The presentation that I am about to show you is about Cancer. I
chose cancer instead of all the other diseases like ebola and the
plag because I thought that we don’t really talk about cancer
enough so I am going to take my time to tell you about it so lets
start my power point and I hope you enjoy.
What is Cancer?
• “Cancer is a class of diseases characterized by out-of-control cell
growth. There are over 100 types of cancer, and each is classified
by the type of cell that is initially affected.” It is a horrible disease
that people all over the world are getting “It is when abnormal
cells divide in an uncontrolled way. Cancer can happen in every
country. This disease kills up to 20 thousand people a day now
just think of how many people are killed each year.
Types of Cancer!
• The different types of cancer are…
• Breast cancer, Cervical cancer colorectal cancer, Lung cancer, Bone
cancer, Colon cancer, Laryngeal cancer, Small cell, Non small cell,
Hairy cell, Hodgkin, Non Hodgkin, young adult cancer, Thyroid
cancer, Oral cancer, Germ cell tumor, Oral cavity cancer, Lip and
oropharyngeal cancer, Brain tumor, Lucama cancer, Bladder cancer
and much more now please don’t laugh because how would you feel if
you had cancer and people laughed at it.
Where does cancer start in your body
• Cancer starts in your cells. “Everyone’s body is made up of the
same basic stuff.” Big, small, plants or animal we are all made up
of cells. “Some living things only have one cell, they are called
unicellular organisms.” Your body has so many types of cells
there is no such thing as a typical cell.
How you can get rid of Cancer!
• You can get rid of cancer by…
• Getting a special surgery if you really think you need it.
• If you don’t want to go through that trouble then you can just do
things that your docter says would be good.
• You can also try fighting it by eating healthier and exercising
more.
My Question’s for them
• 1) How long does it take for patients to heal after getting a sugery
or something .
• 2) How many patients do you get a day with patients with cancer.
How I can help
• I can help docter’s by maybe going on line to a cancer websites
and helping them out with their cancer and maybe I can tell them
how it is with out cancer.
