develop slowly
Areola remains symmetrical
Nipple Discharge
Nipple discharge
The breast is a modified sweat gland
Nipple discharge is common
Relevant if spontaneous, uniduct or
bloodstained
Commonly produced with compression
Inspissated secretions in central duct are
normal
Common causes of breast lumps:
Cysts, Fibroadenomas
Erosion of nipple
extending to involve
areola
Crusting
Breast Examination
Breast Awareness

your GP without delay
Attend routine breast
screening if you are aged
50 or over.
