How to Cite a Website with a Corporate Author

This is the beginning of a web page from the National Cancer Institute, or NCI.
It tells you that it was published by the National Cancer Institute. The NCI is
the corporate author of this web page.
A corporate author may be part of a larger organization. To find out what
organization the National Cancer Institute is part of, click “About NCI”
“The National Cancer Institute (NCI) is part of the
National Institutes of Health (NIH), which is one of
11 agencies that compose the
Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).”
Now we have all the pieces that we need to build the citation.
This is a corporate author with a long name. Write the whole thing.
Next comes the date the web page was updated. Include the month, day, and
year. The year comes first, because it is an important part of in-text citations. On
web pages, the date is often placed either at the top or the bottom of the screen.
This one is in the header.
Next comes the title of the web page. Notice that for this title, only the first
word gets a capital letter.
The last part of the citation tells where to go to find this web page.
