ACCESSING WEB WIZ FROM ADMINSTRATIVE WORKSTATIONS
& FROM HOME

Web Wiz has the same
functionality that HEO/Wiz (
including preorders) does but
looks a little different.

Printing from Web Wiz has some special
considerations.

The tool bar is at the top instead of the bottom
•
•
Entering orders will still generate a Physician Order Sheet /Req
on the nursing unit
If web wiz is launched from the URL
https://moria.mc.vanderbilt.edu/~wizorder/webstat/webstat.
cgi Demand prints( preorders, COS etc) will generate to the
default printer for the workstation in use. If working from
home will generate to your home printer however if remoted
into your office workstation from home it will print on the
printer associated with your office workstation.
If web wiz is launched from the links in starpanel from off
campus, printing is NOT supported.
3 methods of Accessing WebWiz from home

use VPN and use a Token to access StarPanel and Web Wiz
from StarPanel ( best if you will be using StarPanel too)
VPN and remote into your Vanderbilt workstation
VPN and access using a URL
NEW : Launching Web Wiz From Starpanel
First time set- up : add wiz options to your action menu
Launching Web Wiz from StarPanel Action Menu
Log into starpanel, select patient, click action and
select Wiz Enter from action menu. Order entry
screen will display in frame below
Launching VPN
Request a VPN account and then launch VPN before attempting to launch web wiz from off
campus. Use the NCS web site below

Connect to vpn then open the following URL: https://moria.mc.vanderbilt.edu/~wizorder/webstat/webstat.cgi
