A note on Region IV Resources
Professional Development
The Region IV web site has LOTS of professional development
opportunities listed, and the workshops that they sponsor are
usually top notch! You can even sign up for them online!
Most of them are held on school duty days though, so be sure
to get permission from Dr. L before you make plans!

a note from jamie…
recently, I have been working on a resource wiki for our
teachers that I hope to grow this year with your help. On the
wiki, I hope to include information & web resources for
teachers: nationally celebrated days/month (Black History
Month, Hispanic Heritage Month, Veteran’s Day, etc), book
recommendations, digital citizenship resources, author study
info, professional development resources, etc.
Please take a look at it, and help me gather usable web
resources for our teachers! If you’d like to collaborate, just click
the button that says Join This Wiki!
