Just Beet It!
Class Policy
Ian, Sean, Aaron, Alison, Lily
Summary
• As our class policy we have decided that we
want a beet juice brine mixture to be used on
roads instead of salt.
• As temperatures go down regular road salt
stops at -10* F were as beet juice mixtures
works until -25* F.
• It’s more environmentally friendly towards
plants and aquatic life.
• Its less corrosive towards vehicles and roads.
• It prevents snow and ice from sticking to the
roads.
