Kostroma is an architectural jewel,
it is an old Russian town with rich
history and long standing traditions.

can be a five – star
tourist
destination
- To receive money.- To raise prestige of our
town.
How to attract tourists into Kostroma…
Unfortunately, there are few visitors in Shelikovo.
And I think that we should publish books about Ostrovskiy
and Shelikovo. And they should be spreaded between
tourists.
They should consist on :
- information about Ostrovskiy,
- information about Shelikovo,
- information about activities, shopping facilities and
tourists accomodation.

aspects of the project)
 Employing a tourism company (to run financial
sides of the bisiness)
 Implementing the project (to make my town 5-star
tourists destination)


Kostroma is an ancient Russian
city.
Kostroma is an architectural
jewel. My town is famous for a
Kremlin, a convent, Ipatievsky
monastery, the church of the
Resurrection-on-the-Debra.
Spire, onion domes makes this
church special.
Kostroma belongs to “Golden
Ring”. More than that Kostroma
is a religious center of old
Russia.

I try to find a way of drawing
more tourists into the town and
getting them to spend money
there.
Kostroma is very interesting from
the point of view of history. My
project “Cradle of Romanovs”
can tell tourists about first
Russia tsar, about life and
traditions, history and mode of
life.


Ipatievsky monastery was a
resident of the tsar Romanov.
He lived in this monastery with
his mother.
I think that museum of Mихаил
Romanov can tell tourists
about his life. Tourists can see
his personal things, read his
letters, see his room and
clothes.

 The Ipatievsky monastery also
served as a centre of artistic life. Its
library numbering 338 titles included
books of ecclesiastical content, on
astronomy, history, medicine,
geography, dictionaries of foreign
words and secular literature. Kept
at the library was the Ipatievskaya
Chronicle, one of the oldest
chronicles of old Russian history
which contain the most detailed
description of the campaign of
Prince Igor of Novgorod-Seversk.

town is a potential
tourist destination, if
only the roads were
better, street lamps were
lit, the churches were
renovated then my town

My Kostroma is the best city in the
world.
And I am sure that since each year
