This gave us the opportunity to experiment with the BeeBot and found that the children were extremely enthusiastic about learning with it. We decided to try using the BeeBot as a tool for supporting children’s learning throughout the curriculum. In this Project the children were learning about Number 6. The Learning Intentions and Success Criteria were discussed with the children over a few lessons. They had an introductory lesson before using the BeeBot. We then used the BeeBot as a way of reinforcing the learning that had already taken place. Later you will see a video which shows the excitement and enthusiasm with which they take part in the lesson. We used a small number of bought resource and school made resources. We used the blank mat which made it easy to change the topic by changing the pictures on the mat.
