 Inventories are necessary to satisfy customer demands, so it is
important to have a reliable estimates of the amount and timing of

 Compute the common minimum point (EOQ).
 Identify the quantity range which contains the
minimum point. Only one of the unit prices
will have the minimum point in its feasible
range.
 If the feasible minimum point is on the lowest price
range, that is the optimum order quantity.
