anthropology is divided into 2 areas: CULTURAL
anthropology and PHYSICAL anthropology

CULTURAL ANTH is then further divided into: social
anthro (ethnography), Archaeology, and linguist anthro.

PHYSICAL ANTH is subdivided into
paleoanthropology, forensic anthropology and
primatology
CULTURAL ANTHROPOLOGY

CULTURE is a product of we people do, what we make
and what we believe

includes everyday behaviour, daily rituals (eg: brushing
our teeth) and beliefs about abstract concepts (eg: time)
✤
learned and transmitted from one generation to the next
✤
focuses on past and present cultures
