Flat heads
Jerky movements
Protruding tongues
Inappropriate laughter
Absence of speech
Mental retardation
Sex Linked or Autosomal
Angelman’s Syndrome is autosomal and is
also recessive
Angelman’s Syndrome is both equally
common in males and females
How often does Angelman’s
Syndrome Occur
About 1000 people in the U.S. and Canada
have Angelman’s Syndrome
And also in occurs in all racial/ethnic groups
