DEFINITION
Non alcoholic beverages are potable drinks which
have thirst quenching, stimulating and nourishing
properties.
Other properties are:
1) It helps to replenish electrolytes in body.
2) supplement diet to invalids, infants and
convalescent
3) prevention of dehydration and heat stroke,
diarrhoea.
4) Supplies instant energy after exercise.
5)It helps to break ice between individuals and aids
in socializing.
Abstinence from alcoholic drinks are
best.
However there are many alcohol free
drinks which are good for socializing.
Temperance is very difficult in modern
competent world.
Highly colorful drinks as substitute for
cocktails and old familiar scotch and
soda.

Fresh lime soda ,straight without salt
Is the best health drink.
Residue is alkaline, and doesn’t cause
any acidity (ascorbic acid gets absorbed
directly).
Old familiar best drink for teetotalers-is
orange juice.
