Transcript The IMD System

Mission: present a unified concept of detoxification
A multi-factorial approach to removing all the “bad stuff”
Toxic metals, chemicals, bowel toxins, chronic infection toxins,
Toxic energies, toxic thoughts, attitudes and beliefs
Healthy aging and recovery is putting the good stuff in while taking the bad stuff out at all levels of our
Human Existence:
Maximizing the body’s natural detoxification mechanism
(the bowel-liver-blood eco system) is foundational to all
detox efforts;
The IMD system

Toxin retention phenomena: all toxins similar
◦ Chemicals, metals, neurotoxins from chronic infections, drug residues…
◦ Eventually overwhelm detox organs, cells
◦ Shut down the cellular detox mechanisms, anti-oxidant and detox gene expression
producing the anti-oxidant and detox enzymes/ systems


If genetic problems, thresh hold is lower, but all have a thresh hold were cellular toxicity
overwhelms the system/ organs/ tissues
Unified detox: all toxins need to be removed-
similar
mechanism

Neuro-toxins: affect not only nerves and brain, but all cells and their
membranes – lipophilic (love fat)
Symptoms: see Neurotoxin questionnaire

Detox: 2 main concepts/ rules

◦ Neuro-immune problems: most issues
◦ Remove the sources: food, water, home environment, personal care, mouth
◦ Turn on the natural detoxification process

Compensate if (epi)genetic deficiencies in detox

I. Bind the toxins in the bowel: requires a bowel
binding food/ supplement
◦ Especially because mercury, heavy metals and
neurotoxins are re-cycled in the bowel
◦ Critical for controlling bowel inflammation
 Stops the transport of toxins out of the liver and all cells
 Stops the cellular detoxification Phase II: the conjugation
step of attaching a carrying molecule to oxidized toxin (from
Phase I)
 Result the liver and all other cells become more toxic

Toxin Retention Phenomena

Chlorella is a natural binding food for
neurotoxins (also IMD)
◦ Unified concept: all toxins out through natural detox
II. Turn on Phase II detox system in liver and all cells
◦ Binds the exogenous (outside toxic chemicals) and
endogenous (inside chemical toxins) in the cells and makes
them harmless and soluble in fats or water for easy
removable (makes them detergents)
◦ Liver has additional function, cleans the blood
◦ Requires sulfur (stores) and the glutathione system
functioning well
◦ Nutrition and phyto-nutrients turn on cellular enzyme
systems to:
 Normalize Phase II
 Then enhance the action of Phase II enzymes (IMD system)

Chlorella, garlic turn on Phase II (IMD system – Clear
Way Co-factors); other foods and phyto-nutrients
III. Normalize/ Enhance the glutathione and antioxidant enzyme systems
◦ Glutathione is the most critical detox and anti-oxidant
chemical in natural detox arsenal
◦ Detox occurs with anti-oxidant cascade
 Requires an electron to release the toxin from the binding
site
◦ Detox is stopped with the inflammatory cascade
 Enhanced free radical activity
 Immune activation enhanced (if not chronic inflammation)

Chlorella, garlic, other foods and phytochemicals
◦ (IMD system: IMD, Clear Way Cofactors, Thermosomal
glutathione, Vitamin C/ R-Lipoic)
IV. Bind the neurotoxins in matrix to deliver
toxins to the excretory organs (getting the
toxins out- not around)
◦ Liver – bowel; mouth/ bowel; kidney; skin (sweat);
lungs; women -menstruation/ babies; men seminal fluids

Binding in the matrix
◦
◦
◦
◦
Chlorella (Clatherating agents)
Glutathione: naturally produced
(IMD system – Thermosomal Glutathione, EDTA)
Other chelation agents: DMPS, DMSA, Clatherating
agents, EDTA, OSR
V. Membrane rehabilitation and activation
◦ All neurotoxins damage membranes - the activity
centers for all cellular functions including detox and
energy production
◦ Detox must include replacing the membranes with
good fats: essential fatty acids – omega 3 and
omega 6 in diet and supplements


Chlorella system: chlorella, fish oils, eat good
fats
(IMD system: Essential Phospho Lipids (EPL) in
all Thermosomal products, omega 6 PL)
In summary: Getting the toxins out requires :
1. Removing the toxins
A. from their storage and binding sites in extracellular tissues
 Main storage of metals
B. from the cellular membranes and attachments (GAGS) and
inside the cells
 All cells have similar mechanisms: detox systems,
glutathione system, anti-oxidant system
2. Mobilize through the body-
 Lymphatic system and blood vessels
 Filtered from bodily fluids by liver, kidney and other organs of
excretion
3. Remove from the body
Elimination organs: bowel - liver, kidney, lungs, sweat,
Lymph system (mobilization) and others

Anti-oxidant cascade (detox) vs. oxidative
cascade (toxins): governed by respective genes
◦ Genes turned on by their environment: foods, phytonutrients, toxic load, but also the internal environment
(milieu)
 Anti-oxidants enzymes, detox enzymes or
 Oxidative enzymes: due to acidosis, lack of minerals,
coagulopathy (lymph and blood flow), low oxygen, free
radicals (oxidosis)

Inflammation inhibits detox
◦ Inflammation is critical for survival but short termed, not
a chronic state of inflammation

Healthy milieu
-> the “healthy” garden or extracellular matrix, critical for detox
◦ Cells thrive and function to capacity in a healthy milieu
◦ The matrix is opened to transporting the toxins out and nutrition
in

Unhealthy milieu-> acidosis, low oxygen, low
minerals, oxidosis coagulopathy (lymph, blood flow),
chronic inflammation, immune system decrease, increase
toxic load (heavy metals, toxic chemicals stored), the bugs
will invade and thrive in this good environment (for them)
◦ Low organ/ function, pain, all other signs and symptoms of dysfunction and disease; these are areas of toxic dumping
◦ Laws of Homotoxicology (man’s toxins): the process is
 Eliminate -> Inflammation-> Store the toxins
 Toxins cross the cellular divide// cells loose function-> degeneration or
neoplasm


liver which cleans the blood is most
important in the toxin elimination process.
The
Here most elimination products are expelled with the bile into
the small intestine and should leave the body via the feces
(digestive tract).
All neurotoxins bound to glutathione from the blood, are
removed from the blood in the liver and pass into the bile
◦ However once in the bowel, the glutathione is enzymatically cleaved
and the neurotoxin-cysteine is reabsorbed and re-cycled
◦ E.g. mercury, heavy metals, some neurotoxins

However, because of the lipophilic/ neurotropic nature of the
neurotoxins, most are reabsorbed by the abundant nerve
endings of the enteric nervous system (ENS) in the intestinal
wall. The ENS has more neurons than the spinal chord.

IMD: Intestinal Metals Detox
◦ Opens Phase III (detox system), stops re-absorption

Clear Way Cofactors – phyto-nutrients
◦ Up-regulate synthesis of Phase II enzymes and
intracellular antioxidants

Nanoshpere Nutrient Delivery
◦ Glutathione
◦ Vitamin C/R-Lipoic Acid
◦ EDTA/ R-Lipoic Acid
 Phospho Lipid – membrane rehabilitation

Compatible with chlorella system
The IMD system can be used alone or with the
chlorella cocktail. It is superior for
enhanced brain and cellular
detox in later phases of detox (II, III and IV).
This system usually cycles: 5 on/2 off then 10/4
cycles;
can enhance with chelation drugs (oral, IV, IM,
subQ, and suppository) on the ON part of the
cycle.
The IMD system starts immediately to one month
after the dental phase (phase I). Always start slow
and ramp up over time.
IMD – Intestinal Metals Detox, A non-absorbable
chelator
 IMD is a large silica molecule with many thiol (-SH)
binding groups attached, capable of removing large
amounts of mercury and other heavy metals, toxic
chemicals, neurotoxins (i.e. mold aflatoxins), organic
nitrates and radiation.
◦ All toxins bound to glutathione in the blood, or conjugated
by glutathione from the liver-bile are readily bound to IMD
preventing their intestinal re-absorption.
◦ By removing metals from the intestines, IMD catalyzes
whole body detoxification.
◦ In addition, IMD optimizes the natural action of glutathione
in the intestines by using insoluble thiol groups to bind and
remove heavy metals accumulated in the intestines and to
directly quench free-radicals.

Stops re-absorption: of mercury, other heavy metals and other
neurotoxins in the intestines and escorts these harmful
contaminants out of the body
◦ Able to tightly bind large amounts of heavy metals, neurotoxins
◦ Intercepts methyl-mercury and other heavy metals trapped in
enterohepatic (bowel-liver) circulation



Leads to lowering of blood mercury levels allowing organ and
tissue bound mercury to safely drain into the blood at a natural
rate
Bowel anti-inflammatory: Improves the body’s natural
detoxification ability by quenching free radicals in the intestines.
When elemental mercury has been consumed for a long time due
to mercury fillings, large amounts of mercury are absorbed into
the mouth and entire alimentary track. This mercury is
embedded into the mucosa linings of the mouth and stomach
and intestines. IMD and chlorella will pull the mercury out of the
mucosa linings over time. This is part of the bowel recovery
needed after dental mercury removal
With the bowel inflammatory
condition resolved

IMD starts cellular detox: Opens up the detox
transporters of PHASE III (liver and other cells), which is inhibited
whenever there is bowel inflammation due to mercury overload.
(Stopping metal catalyzed free-radical reactions which can lead
to inflammation and cause down-regulation of detox
transporters (phase III transporters – OAT, sMOAT, MRP’s, etc.)
◦ When the phase III transporters are open to remove the toxins from the
cells, the Phase II, conjugation enzymes are activated and the cells are able
to remove the toxins.
◦ Toxins start dumping into bile (from liver) and blood (from other cells)
◦ Carrying (mobilizing) agents of mercury and other toxins from the blood
to liver: glutathione, chlorella, other chelation agents (EDTA, DMPS,
DMSA).
◦ Enhances liver function

Fortifies the link between the
intestines and immune system. As the
bowel recovers from its chronic inflammatory state, the
immune system responds.


directly enhance the
glutathione production in liver and other
IMD appears to
cells due to its unique carbon to silica ratio that signals
enhanced glutathione
When the liver-bowel detox system recovers, the
burden is reduced from the kidney,
which is usually severely impacted in chronic mercury
toxicity.
◦ It is much better to effectively remove the mercury from the liverbowel (a larger organ system) than the smaller kidney
Dosages: the main use of IMD is to bind the mercury in the bile,
so take the IMD with food, can also be taken away from food


Start slow; it is best to start only with the pre-detox cocktail of
(chlorella, fish oils, freeze dried garlic) for 2-6 weeks, then add the
IMD
◦ Starting with ½ scoop with food; work up to 1 scoop with foods
daily; if 2 times a day divide dose.
◦ Ramping up dosages (2,3, 4 scoops) are outlined later
IMD can be mixed with liquids or oils to create a suspension, or
placed into smoothies or put on foods.
◦ Best to take after food in a spoon of oil (e.g. pumpkin seed oil, 36-9 blends, coconut oil, ghee…)
◦ Mix with Thermosomal Vitamin C/ R-Lipoic Acid
◦ Note: IMD is an ingredient in the Klinghardt Lyme Herbal Cocktail


Cycle IMD with the Chlorella Detox
Cocktail; see the 5/2,10/4 cycles in the first section
IMD can be used by itself for removing mercury and
other heavy metals from the epithelium of the mouth
and intestinal mucosa; this can be of great value after
Dental Mercury removal.
◦ Mix IMD with Vitamin C (2-4 grams)
 Swish in the mouth for mouth mercury cleansing
then swallow for intestinal cleansing
 Do this on an empty stomach for better bowel
pulling
A phyto-nutrient antioxidant blend of therapeutic
herbs and nutrients designed to maximize detox
pathways. Restore and then enhance
the:
◦ Phase II cellular detox system
◦ Cellular anti-oxidant system

When inflammation is reduced, the detox system
is dramatically up-regulated; likewise when the
cellular anti-oxidant is up-regulated, the
detoxification system is enhanced. The Phytochemicals turn genes on that up-regulate
glutathione system, the Phase II enzymes and
anti-oxidant systems (phyto-genomics); phyto =
plant
Treat the chronic inflammation (inflammatory cascade) by
producing anti-inflammatory cascade cellular enzymes
and up-regulate Phase II detox enzymes
◦ poly-phenolic antioxidants: Epicatechin (green tea, cocoa, pine
bark, grape seed), Ellagic acid (pomegranates), Quercetin (fruit
and vegetable skins)
 anti-inflammatory, up-regulate Phase II (phyto-genomics)
 vascular protective effects (strengthen capillaries and improve oxygen
delivery)
 anti-carcinogenic: toxins and metabolite free radicals shuttled out (i.e.
estrogen free radicals – breast cancer)
 cross blood-brain barrier
◦ sulfur compounds: sulforaphane (cruciferous vegetables), Allicin
(garlic), allyl isothiocyanate (horseradish)
 anti-inflammatory, up-regulate Phase II (phyto-genetics)and Phase III
through directly binding to toxins
 vascular protective, anti-carcinogenic
 chlorella, garlic, cruciferous vegetable (extracts), MSM, NAC
Phyto-nutrients (highly concentrated blend of):

wards in maintenance - keep switching.
Thermosomal delivery of detox agents: Vitamin C, Glutathione, RLipoic acid and EDTA
 “Liposomes are microscopic multi-layered spheres made of
phospholipids (the basic building blocks of cell membranes) that
encapsulate a compound in order to bypass the digestive
process that normally degrade or limit its absorption. In addition
to absorption rates of up to 90% of higher, liposomes also
demonstrate the ability to cross the blood-brain barrier, deposit
their cargo intracellular and enhance lymphatic circulation of
therapeutic compounds. Additionally, the phospholipids, which
compose the liposome, feed and rehabilitate the cell
membranes. This ensures the proper function for the absorption
of nutrients and the excretion of cellular waste products and
toxins. Liposomes bring the power of intravenous therapy into a
convenient oral delivery. Liposomes often provide even higher
intracellular delivery of therapeutic compounds than IV therapy.”
Quicksilver – Dr. Chris Shade
Glutathione is the most important detox, antioxidant and protein repair agent our bodies
produce. It operates extra-cellular and intracellular and 24/7. One cannot remain healthy in a
toxic world or recover from chronic health
problems without adequate or optimal
glutathione. Mercury toxicity over time will
significantly reduce glutathione levels intra, and
extra-cellular, and those with chronic health
problems often have (epi) genetic issues with the
glutathione system. Healthy glutathione levels
are critical to every detox strategy and
Thermosomal glutathione is a very important tool
in the detox arsenal.

Thermosomal delivery of Glutathione advantages:
◦ Oral dosages not effective, glutathione is digested in the
bowel
◦ IV delivery enhances the extracellular stores and is used
in all IV detox protocols but can only be delivered during
IV. Thermosomal glutathione delivery
 Can be used throughout the day maintaining blood levels at
home.
 Delivers Glutathione to the intracellular component, not
reached by extracellular IV delivery; more effective for brain
and cellular detox.


Standard dosages: 2-4 pumps per scoop of IMD,
Each pump delivers (.5ml): 100mg of glutathione
and 135.7 mg EPL

Why Vitamin C for detox?
◦ Vitamin C –is a potent mobilizer of toxins including
heavy metals; Mobilizers of toxins like Vitamin C, unbind
the toxin from their cellular or matrix binding site by
giving an electron back to the mercury. Although
Vitamin C is a very good unbinding mobilizer of
mercury, it requires a carrying agent to move the toxins
from the matrix through the lymph and blood to
excretory organs (liver, kidney, lung, bowel, sweet
gland). Carrying agents: glutathione, Chlorella, EDTA,
DMPS,DMSA, NAC, nano-chlorella
◦ Vitamin C turns on anti-oxidant enzymes, required for
adrenal support and connective tissue (collagen) repair
◦ R-Lipoic Acid is the active ingredient of lipoic acid,
potent anti-oxidant in membrane (fat) and blood (water),
turns on anti-oxidant enzymes and chelates toxins
Absorption of oral Vitamin C diminishes rapidly
as the dose is increases. Enhanced dosages of
Vitamin C achieved through IV have been very
helpful for detox, enhanced immune response
and many other health issues. Thermosomal
delivery of Vitamin C/ R-Lipoic is a less
expensive way of taking enhanced dosages of
these important nutrients. As explained above,
Thermosomal delivery has better brain and
cellular distribution, making it a superior
administration than IV.
Dosages:
 1 dropperful (1ml) contains 500 mg Vitamin C,
25 R-Lipoic acid, 150 EPL; 24 servings per bottle,
refrigerate and use within 1 month
 Standard dosages: 1-2 dropperfuls per scoop
IMD, 1-3 times a day; but increase as needed –
more during healing crisis
 Methods of dosing: take alone or with mix IMD
into the Vitamin C
◦ Shake well before use, hold in mouth (between cheek
and gum) 20 seconds then swallow; 1-2 dropperfuls at a
time
◦ Take on empty stomach 20 minutes before meals
◦ Higher dosages can be mixed with water, juice.
Thermosomal EDTA is delivered into the blood, by-passing the oral
route, which is ineffective. EDTA is a very useful in removing unwanted Calcium in blood vessels and soft tissues and well as
heavy metals (lead, arsenic, cadmium and mercury). EDTA is a
useful chelator in the detox arsenal.
Thermosomal EDTA with R-Lipoic Acid
◦ Therasomal (Quicksilver): mixture of MgK2EDTA, Ca-EDTA, Na2 EDTA and
R-Lipoic Acid (the biologically active form of lipoic acid) with injectable
grade of phospholipids; enhanced PL and R-Lipoic (for brain, nerves, liver
and cardiovascular)
 Normal dose - 1 teaspoon every other day - 1 teaspoon delivers 210mg
EDTA, 35 mg R-Lipoic acid, 1.8 g of EPL


Serving size per container: 12
Take diluted in juice

If used with EDTA suppository (i.e. RX or Detoxamine), dose the morning after the
suppository placement that night
Take minerals that night and the next day but not the night of the suppository and
the morning of the dose of Therasomal EDTA
 Use separately or with EDTA suppository for enhanced action.


Healthy glutathione levels are critical for detox, for
glutathione is the #1 natural detox agent.
◦ Optimal glutathione blood levels during detox get the most
out of any detox.
◦ Mercury especially but also chronic toxic exposure will
reduce the glutathione levels and impair the body’s ability
to make glutathione. Optimizing glutathione during detox
is important and this involves:



Supplementing with an effective delivery of
glutathione (Thermosomal/ Liposomal Glutathione),
discussed above
Supplementing with the glutathione precursors to rebuild the body’s ability to make its own
IV/ IM glutathione: Infusing glutathione into the
blood.
Supplements to enhance glutathione: in addition to Thermosomal (liposomal)
glutathione
 Chlorella, cilantro, garlic (the detox cocktail): already reviewed
 Organic raw and cultured foods – cruciferous vegetables
 Cruciferous vegetables have a high amount of sulfur amino acids plus other
precursors.
◦
◦
Garlic, onion, water crest, cabbage, Brussels sprouts,
The supplements for Phase II liver detox:



The amino acid precursors:

◦


Cruciferous sprouts complex (Bioimmersion)
Oncoplex (Xymogen)
NAC (N – acetyl – cysteine), this is the amino acid precursor to glutathione

Take 200-400 mg /day but not more until later into detox (phase III or IV)

SAMe, this is taken if Methylation problems, inability to handle stress and other conditions.
Methionine: the essential amino acid in which NAC is derived
MSM (methyl- sulfonyl- methane): 1-10 grams per day
Add whey protein to your raw foods; whey protein has the ability to increase
intracellular glutathione


Small, simple molecules, required signal for the cells to function appropriately
Product of mitochondrial ATP energy production
Signal inside the cells or between the cells to protect, repair or replicate themselves. Health
is the capacity to heal and redox signaling is essential to that goal.
In youth, plenty of energy (ATP)- ample amounts of redox signaling molecules.
◦
◦
◦
Healthy, recover quickly and their bodies seem to work properly without developing chronic
health problems.
Human redox chemistry - in youth, with plenty of mitochondria making ATP, there is an
abundant supply of redox signaling molecules.
However, as we age the cells loose efficiency and mitochondria. It is estimated that normal
aging looses 8% mitochondria each decade, so at the end of life we have 10-15% cell
efficiency left


glutathione and cellular anti-oxidant enzymes
Redox signaling molecules are naturally produced;
◦
◦
◦

Enhances
All of us have witnessed that we have less recovery over the age of 30. The primary reason is the
reduction in redox signaling molecules to direct the cellular balance.
With our increasingly toxic life (modern living), our cells must protect themselves
from toxins (heavy metals, chemicals and bio-toxins from Lyme, mold,
parasites…), if damaged – repair the cells and if not able – kill itself (to prevent
degeneration or cancer). These functions require redox signaling molecules, which
are always in too short of supply with any chronic dys-function or illness.
 So


what’s unique about Asea?
Redox signaling molecules are certainly not new.
Signaling molecules have been discovered and
studied for over 30 years. What is revolutionary is
that these molecules that have very short lives in
the body (seconds), are now able to be stabilized.
Oral administration - ASEA can now supply the
bodily cells with a balanced buffet of redox
molecules for cellular balance.
ASEA compliments all supplements, herbs, drugs
and hormones. The only effect is that eventually
you may need less.


ASEA dosages can vary.
◦ usual dose is 2 oz. twice a day on an empty stomach – AM and PM
◦ Chronic conditions 6-8oz. per day may be required.
◦ Some patients with tumors require 8-12 oz. per day.
Caution, for patients with chronic debilitating health conditions,
where there is lack of ATP (energy), digestive capacity, and the
neuro-immune system is vulnerable and with impaired ability to
detox. Dosing ASEA should go slow in the beginning. The detox
or immune system may get reeved up before the body can
handle the detox load.
◦ The toxic patient may feel worse if normal dosages are taken too early. So
if there are problems upon starting ASEA – slow it down.

ASEA makes no claims of curing any diseases. It is not
specifically for any medical condition. However, this unique
natural supplement can be for all health conditions.
On / off cycles
