How it is used
• While Rohypnol has became widely known
for its use as a date-rape drug.
• It is abused more frequently for other
reasons.
• It is abused by high school students,
college students, street gang member,
rave party attendees, and heroin and
cocaine abusers.
Short term effects
• Relaxation or sedation of the body.
• Risk of sexual assault.
• Rapid mood swings and violent outbursts
of temper.
• Breathing and heart rate slow down to
dangerous levels.
• Comas and seizures (especially when
combined with amphetamines).
More Short term effects
• Vomiting and headaches.
• Difficulty breathing and nausea.
• Harsh withdraw symptoms like insomnia,
anxiety, tremors and sweating.
• Memory loss
• Sometimes death

• Rohypnol has never been approved for
medical use in the united states,
therefore, doctors cannot prescribe it and

Colombia, and Europe where it is used.

• Rohypnol is generally taken in pill form (it
is rarely crushed and snorted).
• Rohypnol is extremely powerful (about
5min. As powerful as valium).
• Even a small dose can affect the users for
8 to 12 hours.
