from Faizabad.
It is a 50 beds facility
divided in to three units.

Why SMCT ?
 SMCT
(Subhan Medical Centre Trust) is a non-profit
organization registered with the Government of Pakistan under
Society Registration Act 1860.
 It is purely based on passionate devotion for the welfare of
persons suffering from the Substance Related Disorders and
Comorbidity of other Psychiatric Disorders.
 SMCT has a firm belief that Drug Addiction is a progressive and
curable disease. It took the challenge to provide best available
treatment for the Substance-Related Disorders.
 SMCT established in 2009 in the heart of the Islamabad city
initially with 30 beds and was upgraded to 50 beds in 2012.

 SMCT for public advocacy works hard to fight the
stigma of addiction and to promote the promise and
possibility of recovery.
 Our efforts will be to focus on defining and advancing
policy and legislation that will help people with the
disease of addiction by providing them access to
finding more easily treatment clinics and recovery
support.
 We also encourage people to speak out and tell their
own success stories to offer hope to others.

Welfare Agencies, Schools/Colleges, Universities, ANF
and UNODC by sharing the data base and Research
facilities.
Registration and proper documentations of the patients
and their families.
Financial, Medical and Legal support for the patients
and their families.
Establishing support groups for the sensitivity of the
cause and helping the Government into policy making.
