Her Early life
Born November 8, 1949
Born in Burbank , California
Daughter of John Raitt
When she was only eight, the
soon-to-be blues musician was
given a Stella guitar for
Christmas.
Was very interested in a lot of
things but music was the best
for her.
Starting her
career
In the begging of her life she like
playing the blues.
Bonnie then started to play in Boston
at a blue’s club.
In 1967 got signed to Warner Bros
for her great reputation in singing.
With in the 1977's Sweet
Forgiveness, Raitt scored had scored
her first significant pop airplay.
Awards
Had many albums that were great
Raitt Has Received
Nine Grammy Awards In Her Career And Is A
Lifelong Political Activist.
Received the following Grammys: Album of the
Year, Best Female Rock Vocal, Best Female Pop
Vocal, Best Traditional Blues Recording (With
John Lee Hooker), 1990
Through her bad times
In 1982 Raitt was battling with a drug
and alcohol problem
Was not releasing an album
Announced their divorce on
November 9, 1999
