UHC AY 2014 Operational Highlights
• New and Continuing Students
• 2065 applicants from 642 high schools and 83 universities (30% offer
rate)
• 992 students enrolled in UHC this fall (largest student enrollment in UHC
history)

UHC Operational Highlights
• Tuition Policy
• UHC differential tuition (DT) is now included as part of UHC students’
cost of attendance in financial aid calculations
• Enables the student’s financial aid packet to be adjusted for DT without
student having to manually initiate the process
• Consistent with process used by other colleges with DT
• Ensures equitable awarding of financial aid
• Eliminates DT waiver request process

• Michelle McAllaster: Was Head Advisor Mechanical Engineering, joining UHC
Advising Team on 3/31/14.
• New Office Support specialist Judy David began on 3/24/14

• Facilities
• SLUG relocated to accommodate seismic retrofits in STAG, which begin
January 2014
• Plans underway for transition to 2nd floor Weniger Hall in Summer 2014
• New UHC space in classroom building construction began in August.
Target move in date of Fall 2015
• Sackett Hall LLC proposal under review by OSUF
