EXCEPT
must have a proper warrant

Automobiles
“One Clear-Cut Rule” when
police lawfully stop a car, they
don’t need a warrant to search if
they have reason to believe
vehicle holds evidence of a crime.
The Exclusionary Law
Evidence obtained illegally by

person.

Can be conducted w/o warrant
Courts uphold laws of random drug
testing of students who want to
participate in extracurricular
activities
Wiretapping
needs a court order to wiretap
Info can be used in court only in
certain circumstances.
