Even though it dropped in a 20 percent share

and paid for a 1 year credit report

Given ChoicePoint’s experience, what is the
likely action of similar companies whose
records are compromised in this way? Given
your answer, do you think federal regulations

Government related jobs should be the first to use
ChoicePoint in being able to verify which candidates
might have lied on their applications about possible
fraud cases.
Also insurance companies or banks might want to use
ChoicePoint before granting loans because they will be
able to obtain information on credit history, social
security verification, education verification, and the
drug testing policy.
The central theme of ChoicePoint would be to make
sure the right candidate is hired for the job at hand.

decisions, especially when it comes to identifying convicted sex offenders
who may be applying for jobs that give them access to vulnerable
populations, such as children.
Credit Report
When making decisions about candidates who will be trusted with
financial responsibilities, employers sometimes need employment-related
credit history information. LexisNexis® has access to multiple credit
