HELP DESK
Provides technical, operations, and support to users of company's personal
computers either by telephone or through e-mail, relative to desktop
hardware and software issues as well as an understanding of an enterprise
user account process. Performs hardware and software diagnostics and
coordinates repairs. Develop and provide metric based reports. Ability to
demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills and strong
customer service experience. Responsibilities include such tasks as password
resets, e-mail requests, web requests and direct requests for Help Desk
support. Candidate will document, research, identify and attempt to solve
technical problems on initial call and/or triage where appropriate for
resolution. Document and track support activity and clearly communicate
technical solutions in a user friendly professional manner. Uses expertise in
customer service and technical knowledge gained from prior experience to
resolve issues as it relates to customer's environment. Work with Call Center
representatives regarding local support at various locations.

Provides installation and day-to-day support for
hardware, software, and network components for
desktop personal computers. Offers advanced technical
support to local network or system users, troubleshoots
difficult user software or hardware problems, and
repairs equipment. Performs first level support for

hardware, software, and networks.
Associate's degree or equivalent work experience
-At least 1 year experience with the support of hardware, software,
and network components for desktop personal computers.

Practices preventive maintenance, logs and tracks
problems, reviews problem tracking databases.
Investigates hardware problems and performs minor
system hardware and communication connection
repairs. Works with callers or specialists to resolve

applications. Participates in analysis of client identified
issues or problems, which may require changes to
procedures, standards, or systems. Performs moves,
changes, enhancements, and corrections to office
layout for PC's, printers, and other hardware.
