Drug Brochure
For
Parents
Here is your chance
to teach your
parents/guardians the
latest about the drug
crisis that plagues our
nation
OBJECTIVE
You will create a drug
brochure that offers
information and advice to
parents or guardians of
pre-teens/teenagers. You
will discuss with them
what you have
discovered and then
reflect on your
experience.
GUIDELINES
You will pick or be assigned a
category/type of drug on which to focus.
Topics include:
Ecstasy
Rohypnol
GHB
Heroin Oxycontin
LSD
Anabolic Steroids Ketamine
other topics may be researched if cleared by
your teacher
Make sure to include the following in
your brochure:
What is the drug?
Classification
(stimulant, depressant,
hallucinogen, narcotic, etc.)
What are the street names for the drug?
Where is the drug
found?
Who is the target
crowd?
What are the
consequences of
using this drug?
Physical
Legal
What schedule is the
drug?
What does this mean
regarding fines, jail
time, etc.?

your beliefs and expectations for your child?
