• Boric Acid Solution
Step 1
• Drug Store
– Purchase Boric Acid (Borax brand name)
Step 2
• Combine in a spray bottle:
– 1 tsp Boric Acid
– 6 tbsp white sugar
– 2 cups very hot water
• Mix thoroughly
Step 3
• Spray solution on ants
• Caution:
– Toxic
– Wash hands after use

• Grocery store
– Purchase oatmeal or grits
Step 2
• Find ant nest
• Place teaspoon of oatmeal or grits near
nest
Step 3
• Wait for ants to take food and eat it
• May hear “pop”
– food rehydrates
