Positive Outcomes
• Significantly the programme was able to help
youth who did not complete treatment from
precontemplation ( there is no problem) to
contemplation ( state of thinking about change
and acknowledging there may be a problem)
which is necessary for a possible positive
treatment outcome next treatment episode.
• This is very important given the importance of
motivation to the behaviour change process as
well as the fact that this was for all adolescent
clients (2011-2012) there first time in treatment.
